How To: Everyday Makeup

One of the things that surprises people the most is that I make every effort to do my makeup daily. It helps to set the tone for my day- by getting myself “ready” for whatever lies ahead. Over the past few months, I believe I have mastered the simplest makeup routine known to (wo)man. It allows me to feel and look my best with minimal effort and time.

You’ll only need 6 products:

Foundation- I always run back to this one. NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil is a light weight cream with flawless coverage. It’s like my skin but better.

Shade: True Beige Buff

Bronzer- This is my #1 favorite bronzer of all time. With beautiful shades of pink, champagne, bronze and pearl- its the perfect combination for a warm, never orange bronze. Use this in place of blush and anywhere you want a sun kissed glow.

Shade: Light or Medium

Concealer- I have tried many products to help cover my dark circles and this one is a GOOD one. It is worth all the hype in the world!

Shade: Light (for brightening) Light Medium Honey (for everyday, tone matching)

Brow Powder- For my dark hair, finding the right shade to match my roots is a challenge. This powder is the ultimate in formula (staying power) and color. I love using it for shading in my brows and lining my lids as eye liner.

Shade: Brown Black

Mascara- I’ve tried many and have only found one that I have purchased multiple times like this one. Any mascara from the Essence Lash Princess line is incredible.

Lip- For an easy, glossy, day and night moisture surge- I reach for this lip mask. This one comes in a three pack and i love the lime!

Minimal in both effort and time- you can count on these products all year around too. They are light enough in warmer months and hydrating in the colder ones. I have mixed prestige brands and drugstore ones to get just the right combination.
